Kambo: los caminos masculino y femenino

Kambo es una medicina "inteligente", su compleja composición química dirigida a las áreas que requieren más ayuda. Esto es muy raro en la naturaleza y solo hay un puñado de medicamentos vegetales que son capaces de hacer algo como esto, pero en un grado mucho menor que Kambo. La forma más común de aplicar Kambo es en el hombro donde el medicamento puede ingresar rápidamente al torrente sanguíneo debido a su proximidad a la vena subclavia y al corazón. Cuando esto se hace dando la dosis completa de una vez, es la forma masculina. Esta es una forma muy poderosa de administrar Kambo y normalmente produce una purga rápida, a menudo en forma de vómitos, pero para las personas que tienen problemas intestinales puede causar diarrea de corta duración que limpia los intestinos. Los efectos generalmente pasan rápidamente y son seguidos por un período de relajación durante el cual el Kambo funciona en el órgano interno y el sistema nervioso.

La forma femenina es mucho más suave, pero la curación es más profunda. La dosificación se aplica lentamente durante un período de 10 a 15 minutos y, a menudo, a la pierna o lugares energéticos específicos asociados con el área principal del problema, por ejemplo, puntos de acupuntura. (Esto es en cierto modo similar al enfoque utilizado para problemas musculares y nerviosos, excepto que la dosis se aplica mucho más lentamente). La forma femenina induce la relajación y permite que la medicina ingrese directamente en los órganos y las sistemas nervioso y glandular. Este es el método preferido de aplicación para enfermedades crónicas y debilitantes.

The Masculine and Feminine Paths

Kambo is a “smart” medicine, its complex chemical make-up targeting those areas which require the most assistance. This is very rare in nature and there are only a handful of plant medicines which are capable of doing anything like this, but to a much lesser degree than Kambo. To some extent, whichever method of application (masculine or feminine) is chosen, the medicine may have other ideas and will choose where it goes and which parts of the body it will work with. However generally if the practitioner is in tune with the medicine and client the effect will be augmented by choosing the correct method of application.

The most common way of applying Kambo is on the shoulder where the medicine can quickly enter into the bloodstream due to it’s proximity to the subclavian vein and heart. When this is done giving the full dose in one go, it is the masculine form. This is a very powerful way of giving Kambo and it normally produces rapid purging, often in the form of vomiting, but for people who have problems with the intestines it can cause short-lived diarrhoea thus cleansing the bowels. The effects usually pass quickly and are followed by a period of relaxation during which the Kambo works on the internal organ and nervous systems.

The feminine way is much more gentle but the healing goes deeper. The dosage is applied slowly over a period of 10 - 15 minutes and often to the leg or specific energetic locations associated with the main problem area, for example acupuncture points. (This is in some ways similar to the approach used for muscular and nerve problems, except that the dose is applied much slower.) The feminine way induces relaxation and allows the medicine to enter directly into the organ, glandular and nervous systems. Often double the dose can be applied in this way without causing vomiting, diarrhoea, increased heart rate, profuse sweating and swelling of the throat that are common effects of the masculine method. This is the preferred method of application for chronic and debilitating conditions.
